Freaking LOVE making teasers

I'm going nuts with making Chasing Paige teasers. Every time I create a new quote, I make it into a teaser. I freaking love doing it and setting off my loyal readers is half the fun.
I am more than half done with CP. While I don't have a set release date, I do know it will be ready this coming November. It seems I get nervous with every book when it comes to dates of releases. I never know exactly when I'll be finished. I have to make sure that my formatter has an opening, so I always make sure it's way in advance so I can kick ass to finish the story. That's what's happening with CP. I want this out before the new year. 2 books per year, that is my goal.

Teaser Tuesday Excursion!!!!!!!

So, I've been slacking on the blog lately. Due to writing Chasing Paige, my son getting his wisdom teeth taken out, to traveling up to bring my daughter home from camping all week with family and basically being lazy - like usual LOL.
Today is Teaser Tuesday and I have a couple new ones to share, from Chasing Paige. I am in love with these new ones that I have made. I believe they're my best yet.
Just like anything, the more you work on something, the better you get at it. I spend a lot of time on my teasers to make them look professional and beautiful. I think I do an amazing job on them and I am not just saying that because it's my work, I just know that they are. I wish more authors would use me to make them beautiful teasers. Their $$$ would not be wasted.
On another note, Chasing Paige is coming along quite well. I am praying that I finish it before October, because I am going to get busy during that month. Lots of things happening: Vegas, book singing in LA, Cali and then going on an unexpected local cruise with my 94 yr old grandfather who needed a companion. Since I stay home, I am able to do this. And even though my son's 17th bday is the same time I go on this excursion, he is allowing me to miss his special day. My husband thinks this is a good thing, to spend this quality time with my grandfather because he's not going to be around forever. My grandfather has always claimed he will live till 100 and I believe him. He's still in great shape and has always loved traveling. So there you have it LOL. I am going on a cruise up and down Southern/Northern California - the least favorite thing for me to do, since I live in California and have seen everything already, but it does travel into Ensenada. Woo hoo! LOL. However, I will treasure this escapade with my grandfather.

Teaser Tuesday

I want to show off a brand new teaser I created for Chasing Paige. Not only do I write, I also love making teasers, promo banners, cover banner and fliers. It's my little side business to help with purchasing covers for my books. I've made a ton of teasers for friends/authors. It's been so fun. My business is called Tiff's Teaser Designs. At first it was hard taking money from my friends and to tell them how much they owe me, but the more I have been doing it, the easier it has gotten. If they want a good teaser or promo banner, unfortunately there is a price tag. I love helping those that hate making them - or those that simply don't have the time and talent. I've always been good at creating and using my imagination - what better way to use it through creating teasers that go with someone's book/s...?

Teaser for Chasing Paige

Even though Chasing Paige isn't even finished yet, I love showing off my teasers for it. I do that with all my books. I get excited and want to show everyone a taste of what they'll be reading. I never know if showing off a new book/teaser so soon after my latest - Lasting Lyric - came out, is a good idea or not, because that needs a lot of attention too. I should think of a day of the week to promote each series/book so they don't get left behind. Yeah, I think I'll start doing that.
I am still nervous about CP, because it's not my usual dirty talk, open door sex, story. It's very contemporary with closed door scenes, which to some that may be a plus for them. However, I cannot make this story all fluffy, unicorns, rainbows and gooey shit, ya know? I want to engage the readers without boring them to death. It's important to me to bring some drama and mystery into my characters and story. And every so often you'll see the word SHIT, because I got approved by my mom that if it's not overly done then, okay, I can use it. My guy, James cannot be too clean. Guys say shit, right? But the word Fuck will not be associated in this story even though I desperately want James to say - "I want to fuck you, and never let you go." Sadly, he's not going to say it. I have to roll with it and stay challenged.
On that note, I'll share my newest teaser from Chasing Paige...OH, you'll notice down in the right hand corner that the series is called Falling into Words. Well I changed it to: Falling for Words. No one probably won't even notice it, but it's there.
